What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is being able to meet new people each day. I really enjoy being able to walk people through a difficult and stressful situation and make it a smooth and easy process. It is great to know that I am helping people restore their homes and I like seeing their reaction at the end.
I grew up in Woodstock, GA, and I have lived in the area all of my life. I have an amazing wife, two little boys and two crazy Australian Shepherds. We are very involved in our church and love helping others. I have many interests, but I enjoy grilling on my Big Green Egg and creating and building things out of wood. I have been in the roofing industry as a roofing consultant since 2005.
Favorite gift as a kid?
My favorite gift as a kid was my first dirt bike. I begged my parents for years to get me one, and I finally wore them down. I came home from a football game in seventh grade to find it sitting in my garage. This was also on my birthday. Needless to say, it was pretty awesome!
Favorite family tradition?
My favorite family tradition used to be watching Christmas Vacation with my family growing up. Now that I have my own kids, my favorite tradition is going to South Georgia to my wife’s uncle’s cabin on the fourth of July and shooting fireworks and enjoying a slower pace of life on their family farm.
My dream vacation would be to visit the National Parks out west for a couple weeks while staying in mountain top cabins.
My secret talent would be that I can wiggle my ears.
To ensure I am the best father I can be to be boys and that they are more successful than I have become.
